The 62nd edition of the Vuelta Ciclista a Asturias, to be held from May 3 to 5, will have in El Violeo and Carabanzo its most demanding climbs and the descent to El Acebo will be the main novelty of a round in which eight World Tour teams will participate, among them Movistar Team with the chosen riders for the Giro d’Italia.
The Asturian round will start its 62nd edition in Oviedo next Friday, May 3, and the cyclists will finish the day in Pola de Lena after 179 kilometers and two passes through the Puerto de Carabanzo, with an average gradient of 10% and a difference in altitude of 202 meters.
